Felicitas Friedrich

Felicitas Friedrich (Munich, 1997) is a dramaturge and cultural mediator. She studied General and Comparative Literature in Munich and Letras Hispanoamericanas in Santiago de Chile. She completed her Master’s degree with a thesis on ‘Neobaroque and Neoliberalism in Chilean Literature after 1973’. From 2020 to 2023, she worked as a dramaturgy assistant at the Münchner Kammerspiele. There she accompanied productions, festivals and artistic research residencies as part of the artistic research area ‘Memory as Work on the Present’. She has collaborated artistically with Martín Valdés-Stauber, Anastasiia Kosodii, Stas Zhyrkov, Ayşe Güvendiren, Laura Santos and Anne Sophie Kapsner. Together with Martín Valdés-Stauber, she has accompanied Janne and Klaus Weinzierl’s research into the fates of the employees of the Münchner Kammerspiele who were persecuted and murdered by the National Socialists. Since 2024, she has been working as a cultural mediator in the Monacensia literary archive to promote a culture of remembrance for the many. She lives and works in Munich.
