Bettina Pommer

Bettina Pommer studied scenography and exhibition design at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design. She subsequently worked as an assistant set designer at the Münchner Kammerspiele. Since 2014, she has been active as a freelance set designer in Germany and abroad, working with institutions such as the Münchner Kammerspiele, Thalia Theater Hamburg, Schauspiel Köln, Schauspielhaus Bochum, the Ruhrtriennale, and NTGent. She frequently collaborates with Johan Simons, Pınar Karabulut, Katrin Plötner, Stefan Pucher, and Philipp Becke. In 2015, she received the Eva Bonacker Prize for her set design for the production "Deutschstunde". Other productions of hers have been invited to the Radikal Jung festival and the Berliner Theatertreffen.
