Jeroen Van der Ven

Jeroen Van der Ven (°1983 - he/his) graduated as an actor director from the Brussels Royal Institute for Theatre in 2009. In 2008, with his solo performance Leuchter, he won the Young Theatre Award at Theater Aan Zee. With the award money he created the solo performance Fobbit (2009), together with director Thomas Bellinck. He went on to collaborate with Thomas for Billy, Sally, Jerry and the .38 Gun (2010); Lethal inc. (2011); De Onkreukelbare (2012); Memento Park (2015); Simple as ABC #2: Keep Calm & Validate (2017) and De bevrijding van het Edelhert (2022). As a freelance actor, Jeroen also performed in plays by a.o. Olympique Dramatique, Het Paleis, KVS, Kris Verdonck, Ontroerend Goed, De Roovers, ARSENAAL/LAZARUS, Hof van Eede and Carly Wijs. Apart from supporting roles in multiple TV series and films, Jeroen also played leading roles in Generation B, Salamander (season 2) and Undercover (seasons 2 and 3). Most recently, he starred in the TV series Lost Luggage (VRT) and Rough Diamonds (Netflix). For several years, Jeroen has also been a guest lecturer at KASK / School of Arts of the University College Gent, where he yearly coaches a project by 2nd Bachelor Drama students.
