Cathrine Dumont

Cathrine Sophie Dumont, born and raised in Saarbrücken in 1989, discovered her love of acting at an early age and gained her first stage experience in the youth club of the Saarland State Theater. She eventually studied acting in Vienna and Zurich.
During her studies, Cathrine Sophie Dumont performed at the Theater in der Josefstadt , the Schauspielhaus Zürich and the Theater der Künste, among others.
After her studies she was a member of the ensemble at the Theater Chemnitz and the Landestheater Niederösterreich. She was part of the production “Der Tag, an dem mein Großvater ein Held war”, which was awarded the Nachwuchs Nestroy for directing in 2019.
Since 2019 Cathrine Sophie Dumont lives in Vienna and Berlin, she works as a freelance actress and made guest appearances at the Staatstheater Braunschweig, Theater der Jugend Wien and Kosmostheater in Vienna, among others.
