That’s Drag! Extravaganza

Drag is imaginative transformation. It’s about freedom, diversity and, above all, creative self-empowerment for everyone.

The kings and queens of Drag Syndrome embody all this and so much more. The world’s first drag group with trisomy 21 is taking it by storm. One hundred thousand followers on Instagram can lie, not this time. Their performance at the All Abled Arts Festival in January was completely sold out. But here’s a second chance: Drag Syndrome are bringing their art to Munich again - with even more glitz and glamor. On this evening, the collective will be joined by a newborn drag king: Rocky Black will give Munich back what the city’s nightlife has been missing for decades: a Freddy Mercury feel.

Whether Earl van Grey will perform as a shady creature, an iron angel or a mystical Pierrot - the Munich drag artist is still keeping that a secret. What is certain is that Pinay Colada will lead the evening as the fruity-sweet hostess.

At the same time, the show will be interpreted into DGS by sign language interpreter Elisabeth Brichta.
Afterwards we will celebrate together, what else?
