Matze Pröllochs

Matze Pröllochs is a freelance musician. From 2009 to 2017, he was the drummer in the band “Me And My Drummer”, released two albums and played around 300 concerts throughout Europe.
In February 2025, he released his first album as a solo artist entitled “Birth No Birth” and went on tour with it.
He is also involved in numerous other projects of various genres, both as a live drummer and in the studio.
Since 2017, Pröllochs has been working closely with theater director Christopher Rüping.
Their joint works “Dionysos Stadt” (Münchner Kammerspiele) and “Einfach das Ende der Welt” (Schauspielhaus Zürich / Deutsches Theater Berlin) were invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen and both won the Theater heute Critics’ Award in the “Production of the Year” category and the Nestroy Prize (best German-language performance).
