Jacqueline Elaine Koch

Jacqueline Elaine Koch grew up in Offenburg in the Black Forest. She studied costume design at Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts from 2019 to 2024 and completed her bachelor’s degree with a costume film based on the essay “Allein” by Daniel Schreiber.

From 2021, she gained her first experience in costume design at various theaters in Germany and Austria, including the Burgtheater Vienna, the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. She already worked as a freelance costume designer in theater and film during her studies. In 2022, she created a collaborative production with the Akademie der Darstellenden Künste in Ludwigsburg. As well as another with the Filmakademie Ludwigsburg the following year. She has already assisted Teresa Vergho several times, including at the Nibelungen Festival in Worms in 2023, in the production “Brynhild” with Pınar Karabulut as director.

She was already a guest assistant at the Münchner Kammerspiele in seasons 21/22 and 22/23. She has been a permanent costume design assistant there since February 2024.
