Henrike Commichau
Henrike Commichau studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich until 2017. Even while she was a student, she created independent performance pieces and co-founded the theater duo hashtagmonike with Mona Vojacek Koper. From 2018 to 2024, she was a permanent ensemble member at the Theaterhaus Jena, where she developed plays such as “Friendship Never Ends,” which was invited to be part of the “Zwischenstücke” program at the Mülheim Theater Festival in 2023. In 2022, she was a fellow of the International Forum as part of the Berlin Theatertreffen. In 2024, she was invited to the Theatertreffen, among other events, with the play “Die Hundekot-Attacke,” which she co-wrote. The production received the 3sat Prize and was named Production of the Year. In February 2025, hashtagmonike collaborated with young people to develop the play “Princess Island” at stellwerk Weimar, which was invited to the JES’s Clubtopia Festival. In January 2026, “Weiße Rose – Stimmen des Widerstands” (White Rose – Voices of Resistance), a co-production with the German National Theater Weimar, premiered. She also appears in the second season of the ZDF series “Fett und Fett.” Since 2018, she has been a regular guest performer at the Schauspielhaus Bochum in “Don’t Worry Be Yoncé.” She is a founding member of the theater group Post Paradies.
