Eva Karl Faltermeier

Eva Karl Faltermeier, born in 1983, is a single mother of two and a trained journalist. Her first two stage shows, “Es geht dahi” and “Taxi. Uhr läuft.,” won over critics and audiences alike. She has been awarded the Rising Star Prize of the Bavarian Cabaret Award, the Newcomer Prize of the Hessian Cabaret Award, and the Prix Pantheon. The city of Regensburg honored her with the “2020 Culture Promotion Award.” For the trained journalist, her greatest goal is to entertain with stories. Eva Karl Faltermeier was a blogger and lecturer. She wrote columns (Bayern2) and hosted her own indie interview podcast (“Es lafft”), for which she received the 2021 Culture Prize of the Upper Palatinate district.

Her first book, “Der Grant der Frau,” was published in October 2021 by Süd/Ost. Her second book, “Mama fatale,” was published in mid-March 2023 by dtv. In 2023 and 2024, she hosted her show KARLSPLATZ – Talk und Tumult on BR television. In 2024, Eva Karl Faltermeier hosted the Blauer Panther and the Bavarian Cabaret Award. She appears regularly on Til Reiner’s Happy Hour and is a guest on various TV shows such as Frank am Freitag or the ZDF Comedy Sommer.
