Fabíola Augusta

Portuguese born and Berlin-based Interdisciplinary artist Fabíola Augusta, merges sculpture and movement in a limitless vocal expression. She graduated in Fine Arts - Sculpture (FBAUP/Royal Academy of Arts of Antwerp), in singing and pedagogics of Singing in Copenhagen, Denmark and has earned an MA in Music Production at Catalyst Institute (Funkhaus, Berlin) with the practice-based creative research titled “@fabs.asmr: radio role play”. She moves across the genres of noise, experimental, hardcore, dreamcore, freejazz, and pop in the improvised and experimental music scene, as a performer, composer, producer and director. Fabíola is also an avid printmaker, a method actress ( associated with Cie Velum, France), a circus performer and creator ( associated with INAC, Portugal) and a dancer with a strong background in physical theater, dance theater and butoh. She is a vocal coach at Arga.vocal.arts.studio under CVT technique. She sometimes travels and performs with her grandmother’s bed.
