Jus Ray’m-Pecquet
Jus Ray’m-Pecquet is a composer, audiovisual artist, and educator whose practice explores sound as a political, relational, and embodied medium. With a background in caregiving, his work engages with intimacy, vulnerability, and power structures embedded in human connection.
He performs live in collaboration with Roland Walter, a musician with spastic tetraplegia, in a raw and politically charged performance that confronts the complexities of interdependence and the caregiving relationship.
His performative works unfold as immersive sonic landscapes, often structured around recurring musical motifs that traverse emotional terrain through slow-building drones, resonant impacts, and abrupt vocal ruptures.
Alongside his artistic practice, Jus is an activist with the association Inklumance and teaches at the Lios School of Imagination, where he develops inclusive and experimental approaches to art-making and education
