Dorothee Janssen

Dorothee Janssen, dance teacher and choreographer, dances and moves with as many different people as possible – in as many different formats as possible. In her more than 20 years as a dance teacher, she has developed innovative approaches to socially, historically and politically relevant topics through movement and physicality.

All of her projects focus on maximum and radical participation by all participants, the group and its intelligence and creativity, but also on the individual with their own thoughts, references and potential.

Together with Julian Monatzeder, she has led many projects for the CultureClouds e. V. association in cooperation with the NS Documentation Centre in Munich on artistic remembrance work with young people in Germany and abroad. For the Centre for Remembrance Culture in Regensburg, they have designed and led workshops, made short films together and are always looking for new ways to combine dance, theatre and film.
