Das Opernkollektiv DIVA

In January 2020, artists Samuel Fischer-Glaser, Nikolai Gümbel, Sophie Schmidt and Angela Stiegler founded the opera collective DIVA. Our shared background is in the visual arts, and we met while studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. As an opera collective, we work together on experimental, interdisciplinary artistic projects. This collaboration usually results in a performative opera that combines various media such as text, image, language and song.
