Eyries

Eyries began in 2020 as an experiment and a journey into the unknown. Jonas Dannecker and Johannes Ludwig started producing music together—at first, all they had was a shared aesthetic vision and a shared fascination with woodwind instruments, synthesizers, and other electronic musical instruments. However, songs were quickly written and, over a period of five years, the EP Polarity was created in work phases at various special natural locations. It was a project close to both their hearts, so that after completing the EP, they felt the need to perform it live. Since woodwinds and synthesizers are the central elements of the music, it quickly became clear that the live band should be expanded to include three wind instruments, played by Anne Heiland, Magdalena, and Theresa Loibl. This resulted in a very special constellation in which the music of the produced album can be wonderfully transported to the stage.
