Amélie Haidt
Amélie Haidt is a singer, guitarist, and composer from Munich. Her work combines jazz, pop, avant-garde, and poetry—often crossing genres, always profound and atmospheric. She is the front woman and songwriter in several projects, including the avant-garde women’s band SiEA, the German-language solo project Amélie // 23 Karat, and guitarist for the Jazzrausch Bigband. Her music ranges from delicate soundscapes to energetic, electronically charged grooves.
After training at the Munich Vocational School for Rock/Pop/Jazz, Amélie completed her jazz vocal studies at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts and was a scholarship holder at Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now. Her artistic signature is characterized by a deep musicality, multilingual expressiveness, and the ability to create intimate as well as complex moods. As a musician, she moves between club stages, festivals, and art performances—with appearances at the South Tyrol Jazz Festival, Ural Music Nights Ekaterinburg, Rocken am Brocken Festival, and renowned Munich venues such as the Olympiahalle, the Muffatwerk, and the Philharmonie with Bobby McFerrin.
