Julia Bomsdorf

Julia Bomsdorf (they/them) is responsible for public relations and communications at LesCommunity e. V. and its subprojects: LeTRa Lesbenberatung, LeZ lesbisch-queeres Zentrum and Regenbogenfamilienzentrum. LesCommunity e. V. offers counseling, events, community spaces and more for lesbian, bisexual and queer women and for people of all genders. Since 2011 LeTRa Lesbenberatung (in English: “Lesbian Counseling) offers specialized counseling services for queer asylum-seekers, with 600 refugees currently being supported through the asylum process. Julia’s work also includes collaborating with and acting as an advisor to social, political and governmental organizations throughout Germany on topics relating to improving the lives of LGBTIQ*-people.
