Björn Gottstein

Björn Gottstein, born 1967, musicologist, critic and long-time editor for contemporary music at Südwestrundfunk in Stuttgart. In 2013 and 2014 he was one of the artistic directors of the “Eclat Festival” and the SWR concert series ‘Attacca’, and from 2015 to 2021 he was artistic director of the “Donaueschinger Musiktage”. He has published numerous specialist texts and reviews in the “Neue Zeitschrift für Musik”, “MusikTexten”, “Spex” and international publications such as “Frieze” (London), “Dissonanz” (Basel), ‘Parergon’ (Oslo) and “Nutida Musik” (Stockholm).
