Liza Joy Tilmann

Liza Joy Tilmann is 42 years old and has been working in the hairdressing industry for 26 years. Throughout her career, she has gained valuable experience in New Zealand, Switzerland, the USA, and Germany. As a passionate master hairdresser, she enjoys working closely with clients and co-creating a welcoming space with them.

Liza completed her training in Germany, where she also obtained all her official qualifications. Her area of expertise is in textured hair structures and their maintenance. Representation holds particular significance for her, especially as a Black German woman. Over time, she has come to understand that her role as a hairstylist is especially important to young people of color living in Germany.
