Maddox Pratt

Maddox Pratt (Oakland, USA, 1983) began studying art at a young age under their father’s tutelage, and as a teenager they studied under the artist Leigh Hyams. After working as a scenic artist and actor, they went back to school and graduated in 2011 from The Evergreen State College with a BA in theatre arts and psychology, and in 2013 from Seattle University with a Masters in Psychology. From 2014 to 2017 they were a member of the Community Print collective in Olympia, WA, USA, with whom they taught beginning letterpress classes. After several illnesses led them to end their acting career, they refocused on fine arts. Since then they have exhibited in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany, where they currently reside.
