Mariana Sesma

Mariana Sesma is an independent curator and cultural manager based in Munich, focusing on themes of belonging, playfulness, care, and decolonial art practices. She is keen on collaborating with other professionals and, over the years, has curated a number of exhibitions, including The Essentials, a photo exhibition presented in Munich’s subway stations, and the solo exhibitions We Were on the Same Branch by Betül Aydin and The Voice of the Daughter by Rusha (Munich). She has also curated the group shows BeLonging at Platform (Munich) and Crossed References: Marginality and Resistance (Brazil). More recently, she curated Pelagial by Nina Radelfahr and Mariella Kerscher at Seidlvilla.
