Loriana Casagrande

Loriana Casagrande, born and raised in Luxembourg, completed her studies in stage and costume design at the Mozarteum Salzburg and the Norwegian Theatre Academy. During her studies, she assisted in stage design at the Salzburg Festival, the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg and the Vienna State Opera. Her own work in stage and costume design as well as exhibition architecture followed at Theater Augsburg, Schauspielhaus Chemnitz, Norsk Teknisk Museum in Oslo and Neumünster Abbey in Luxembourg. From 2017 to 2019, she was a permanent stage design assistant at Schauspiel Frankfurt, where she created several of her own stage designs. Since 2019, she has been working as a freelance stage and costume designer at Schauspiel Frankfurt, the Vienna Burgtheater, the Théâtre National du Luxembourg, the Staatstheater Braunschweig and the Escher Theater Luxembourg, among others.

She regularly collaborates with the directors Regina Wenig, Anne Simon, Jule Kracht, Friederike Blum and Angel Krastev.
