Maria Christoph

Maria Christoph is an investigative reporter at paper trail media, a newsroom specializing in international cooperation and investigative research. The team works exclusively with SPIEGEL and ZDF, the Austrian daily newspaper Der Standard and the Swiss Tamedia Group. Among other things, Maria has investigated journalists killed in Gaza, abuse of power in top gastronomy, the high-impact business of large pharmaceutical companies with opioids for pain and Putin’s daughter’s trips to Munich. Before paper trail media, Maria frei worked for Bayerischer Rundfunk, ZEIT, VICE Magazine and other media outlets.
