Stefanie Groth

Stefanie Groth, born 1987 in Berlin, happy childhood in the east of the city, graduated from school (Abi), then studied (Islamic Studies and Media Studies) in Erfurt (B.A.) Damascus and London (M.A.). Insights into NGO contexts and development cooperation in Amsterdam and Tunis. Then on to Hamburg, for the Volo at NDR. Since then earning money as a freelance journalist, presenter and filmmaker for ARD, Arte, ByteFM and FluxFM. Proud of the podcast “This Band is Tocotronic” and the documentary “Mission im Mittelmeer – Jedes Leben zählt”. Otherwise: doing things at and with the Sea Punks e.V.
