Milo Čortanovački

Milo Čortanovački was born in Kassel in 1996. After completing her degree in American Studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, she completed internships at Munich theaters such as the Residenztheater and the Münchner Kammerspiele in productions by Pınar Karabulut, Trajal Harrell and Blanka Rádóczy, among others. Milica then went on to study at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England, where she graduated in Drama, Theater and Performance in the summer of 2022. During her studies there, she created her first performances and directorial works. Milica received the Sussex Drama Prize for Best Practical for her graduation show He/Hymn.
From the 2022/23 to 2023/24 season, Milo was a permanent assistant director at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, where she also directed her own productions.
Since the 2024/25 season, she has been a production assistant at the Werk*raum of the Münchner Kammerspiele.
