Rosa Rieck

Rosa Rieck initially studied theatre studies, literature and Spanish at the FU Berlin. Meanwhile, she worked in a directing collective in the independent theatre scene, including at the Berlin Performing Arts Festival and the 48h Neukölln Festival. She then studied scenic writing at the UdK Berlin. Her plays have been shown at the BATStudiotheater, the DRAMA! festival at the HfMT Hamburg, the Schauspiel Leipzig and the Koblenz Theatre, among others. As DIEZEN kollektiv, she writes together with Katharina Kern and Lena Reißner. DIEZEN kollektiv was nominated for the Heidelberger Stückemarkt in 2022 and the Münchner Förderpreis für neue Dramatik in 2023 with their play HASCHERL.

She has been studying directing at the HfS Ernst Busch since 2020. During her directing studies, she worked on the advanced training programme “Inklusion in der Lehre der Theaterkünste” at the HfS, assisted at the Deutsches Theater Berlin and directed EIN SPORTSTÜCK at the RambaZamba-Theater Berlin, among others.

In 2025, Rosa Rieck will stage the world premiere of Paula Kläy’s “Gigantische Einsamkeit” at the Werk*raum of the Münchner Kammerspiele.
