Alexandra Martini

Alexandra Martini is a performer, clown, curator and theatre maker. Following her acting training at the HfS Ernst Busch Berlin, she undertook further international training in clowning at the École Philippe Gaulier, as well as with Lucy Hopkins, Deanna Fleysher, Spymonkey and many others. In 2023, she founded the show series “THE LOST CABARET – by funny FLINTA* for everyone!” at Munich’s Import Export and is part of the global alternative comedy collective of the same name. In 2026, THE LOST CABARET will be appearing with two shows at the Werkraum at the Münchner Kammerspiele. Alexandra Martini has performed solo with her character Life Coach Lex Martini at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, RODEO Munich and the Habibi Kiosk. She is a co-founder of the collective raststättentheater, which staged several subsidised play developments and guest performances between 2018 and 2021. She has collaborated with, amongst others, Masako Ohta, Alyona Tokovenko (SKIN CARE BODY BORDERS), Stephanie Maier (BELLY) and Christiane Huber (POOL PEOPLE). In 2023 and 2026, she was awarded a grant from the City of Munich. Alexandra Martini is also a freelance journalist and presenter. She produces features, hosts events and panel discussions, and regularly presents the ‘Zündfunk’ programme on Bayern 2.
