Annabel Wahba

Annabel Wahba is a journalist and screenwriter. She has been working for DIE ZEIT since 2007 and her reports and essays deal with politics in the Middle East as well as issues of displacement, migration and integration. Wahba, whose father is of Egyptian origin and whose mother comes from Germany, combines journalistic research with a personal perspective. Her book Tausend Meilen über das Meer (A Thousand Miles Across the Sea) was published in 2016.
