Claudia Kaunzner

Claudia Kaunzner works at the intersection of theory, the rehearsal room and contemporary politics. Since 2021, she has been working regularly as a guest assistant director at the Münchner Kammerspiele; prior to that, she worked on collective projects within the independent theatre scene. She studied theatre and literary studies, as well as German and politics/society for a teaching qualification at LMU Munich, where she served as cultural officer, and in 2025 began a Master’s degree in dramaturgy at the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Everding. Her focus lies on queer-feminist and intersectional perspectives, as well as canon-critical dramaturgy.
