FILM CONCERT FEAT. FUTURE FEELINGS, THOMAS JACKSON, MANDRAKE & POLLYESTER, VIDEOS BY SU STEINMASSL & JOVANA REISINGER
In 2015, the Munich band Pollyester travelled to Mexico City for the Day of the Dead, together with the directors Jovana Reisinger and Susanne Steinmaßl, and photographer Gabriela Neeb: there, they shot the music video to their new single “Catrina”. Although they group said of themselves that they remained tourists, they met the Mexican disco supergroup Future Feelings and danced until dawn to the music of Mandrake and Thomass Jackson – in a church without a roof. Now the former tourists have invited their holiday acquaintances to the Kammerspiele: for a joint concert with the backdrop of the video made in Mexico. A joint danse macabre – out of the darkness and into the light.
The journey was made possible by the culture council of the state capital munich.
