Kammer 1

OFFENER PROZESS. DIE NSU-PROTOKOLLE II

Lecture with members of the Residenztheater München, Volkstheater München and Münchner Kammerspiele

Since May 6, 2013 there have been criminal proceedings at the Munich Higher Regional Court concerning the ten-year long murder series of the so-called “National Socialist Underground”. The longer the lawsuit continues, the more obvious is not only the failure of the federal institutions with respect to the clarification of the terrorist activities. Furthermore, scepticism is increasing to what extent the trial itself is able to contribute to the basic processing of the apparent deficits in the self-image of state and society. As early as December 4, 2014 the ensembles of the Residenztheater and the Münchner Kammerspiele joined forces in order to read the minutes taken by Annette Ramelsberger, criminal justice journalist of Süddeutsche Zeitung, and her colleague Tanjev Schultz. So much has happened in the meantime that the event will now be carried forward. This time actors from the Volkstheater ensemble will also be involved. In contrast to the previous event, the reading will only take place in Kammer 1 of the Münchner Kammerspiele.

In Collaboration with "Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin".
