The crises are piling up, and impact is coming closer to home. Yet we continue as if nothing has happened. For a week, the Cologne writer Navid Kermani, winner of the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade, will travel up and down Germany, visiting schools in the mornings and giving talks on stages in the evening, to talk about the future of Europe and our democracies. Even if we don’t always have the answers to hand, we have to try to ask the questions more precisely. Navid Kermani’s interview partner at the Münchner Kammerspiele is Alfred Grosser.
