#LOVE

A PLAY BASED ON WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE / WITH THE KAMMERKLICKE

Director: Christine Umpfenbach

play

“Love is a thing that just happens. Although you sometimes think it’s forbidden. Like in “Romeo and Juliet”. Here are two groups with clear associations and views are uncompromising and hostile. But here are two people who don’t care about all that. Origin, language, religion, gender... whatever. They courageously trust their feelings and mistrust everything that separates them. They only want one thing: to be together. Kammerklicke takes on the most famous lovers in the world, and interviews the playwright and itself: “Shakespeare, could you write a happy ending please?”
