SVEN REGENER: WIENER STRASSE

Lecture

Kreuzberg, early 80s - a creative big bang, a surreal world of artists, squatters, freaks, punks and newcomers to Berlin. In his new novel, which was nominated for the longlist of the German Book Prize, Sven Regener continues the tales of his semi-fictional characters, who, since his debut “Herr Lehmann”, have been as much a landmark of Berlin’s Kreuzberg as Kottbusser Tor and Görlitzer Park.

In cooperation with the Munich Literature Festival.
