Four years after his memorable concert at the Kammerspiele, he is back. Together with Rodrigo Leao, Scott Matthew recently recorded the album “Life Is Long”. It contains songs full of bittersweet melancholy and universal pain. The silky yet rough bass of the Anglo-Saxon singer-songwriter tradition, which Scott Matthew grew up with, meets a counterpart of tango and classical music in Rodrigo Leao, who is also at home in the world of pop music. Rodrigo Leao’s has collaborated with Beth Gibbons of Portishead and Neil Hannon of The Divine Comedy. Now Rodrigo Leao and Scott Matthew will come together for the first time to Munich, accompanied by a band with four other musicians.
