AN INCREDIBLE CHILDHOOD STORY BASED ON ALBERT CAMUS’ NOVEL DIRECTOR: MARTIN MÜHLEIS
Is school a place that opens up your horizons on life? This was Albert Camus’ experience as a boy. Modern ministers of education and teachers would probably rub their eyes in disbelief if they heard this story. In a fast-paced narrative, Joachim Król transports the audience into a world of poverty, joie de vivre and “natural beauty” as a first-person narrator in this impassioned theatre production. The music of the Orchestre du Soleil provides the soundtrack to this highly topical play about the “adventure of education”, at the end of which a man who grows up in an illiterate family is awarded the Nobel Prize.
