GLÜCKLICHE TAGE

BY SAMUEL BECKETT, THIRD-YEAR STUDENTS FROM THE OTTO FALCKENBERG SCHOOL OF THE PERFORMING ARTS, DIRECTOR: KEVIN BARZ

play

An aging couple: Winnie and Willi. They have buried each other – in routines, memories and objects. Their past has overtaken the present, their movements are slowing down, and their words are turning to thoughts. Perhaps because they don’t listen to each other any more. So, Winnie decides: “If you were to die, what would I do? Just stare ahead with my lips pressed together. Not say another word!”
