Kammer 1

It’s been exactly 37 years since the band Fehlfarben released their album „Monarchie und Alltag“. Back in the day, it was a record that electrified listeners because the group — from Düsseldorf of all places — who were influenced by British post-punk, expressed the zeitgeist of the late 1970s/early 80s, a fear of the future that was immediately tangible to those who listened to it. As new tracks released by contemporary young bands illustrate, Fehlfarben’s legendary debut album remains highly influential. On 30 June, two bands from different generations will meet in the Kammer 1.
Fehlfarben will perform „Monarchie und Alltag“ in its entirety, song by song, followed by a set of highlights from their eventful career. Before them, the Munich band Candelilla will play from their album „Camping“. The LP, which was released just a few weeks ago, has already been unanimously celebrated as a milestone in German-language rock music.
