By Jeremy Wade, in English
Jeremy Wade has developed a one-man show which is designed half as stage performance and half as concert. Based on an energetic intertwining of motion, sound and words, the charismatic choreographer and performer questions death itself and our social relationship to it. Different types of death are negotiated – the death of theater, of values, of meaning, of relations. Could the end be a new start? Jeremy Wade uses existential metaphors to stir the audience and to better understand the reality in which we live. He forges a wide bridge which ranges from the precariousness of his own life as an artist to the supposed dying of Western societies. As in all his work, Jeremy Wade again uses queer culture techniques as means of resistance against prevailing norms.
