Kammer 1

Reading and discussion with mit Maxim Biller and Adam Soboczynski

Maxim Biller has written the most Jewish, most American and possibly most humorous novel of German contemporary literature! It is the story of Soli and Noah, best friends and almost brothers since their Bar Mitzvah in the Hamburg synagogue in 1976. They are linked by their origin, their humor, their bizarre sexual fantasies and they are both entangled in a grotesque blackmail and kidnapping story of global proportions. At the Kammerspiele Maxim Biller will discuss his new novel with Adam Soboczynski, editor of the feature section of “Die Zeit” magazine. The actor Thomas Schmauser will read excerpts from the novel.

In cooperation with the Literaturhandlung Munich and the publishing house Kiepenheuer & Witsch.
