ACH, DIESE LÜCKE, DIESE ENTSETZLICHE LÜCKE

Reading by and with Joachim Meyerhoff

Prior to taking up community service the unexpected happens: Joachim is accepted by the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich and moves into the bourgeois villa of his grandparents in the Nymphenburg quarter. In the third part of his autobiography “Alle Toten fliegen hoch” (All the Dead Fly High) the actor describes his life as wanderer between two worlds – during the day he is systematically dissected into his components at the drama school; in the evening he flees to the comfort of his grandparents’ sofa. With a reading at the Kammerspiele, Joachim Meyerhoff returns to where his career as an actor began.
