Toxische Pommes: Wunschlos unglücklich

A staunch Marxist and left-wing activist unexpectedly inherits a flat in an old building and is plunged into a deep crisis. Having fallen victim to her bourgeois fate, the class traitor has no choice but to question her previous convictions and search for a new meaning in life within the four walls of her newly inherited home. “Wunschlos unglücklich” is a comic play by someone who knows nothing about theatre, for people who think nothing of theatre.

Toxische Pommes hails from Vienna and is driven by her enthusiasm for the ugly sides of life. She parodies social phenomena and enjoys exposing them where it really hurts. She has hundreds of thousands of followers on TikTok and Instagram. In 2024, her debut novel *Ein schönes Ausländerkind* was published by Zsolnay. She was also awarded the Austrian Cabaret Prize in 2024 and the Bavarian Cabaret Prize in 2025.
