Authors living in war-torn and crisis-stricken regions or in exile in Germany will read from their writings in the new book published as part of the “Weiterschreiben” program. An intimate space for stories of childhood and war, of memory and encounters.

In times when positions seem to be hardening more and more, we want to read together from the collected correspondence of the “Weiter Schreiben” program and, in doing so, develop deep connections that transcend personal and political boundaries.
These letters, read by the authors themselves, tell stories of, among other things, the flight from Kabul or the ruins of Tbilisi, and they are more than just memories—they are literary documents of our time, in which personal fates are interwoven with global political events.
Come join us at the Kiosk and listen to the voices of those who continue to offer hope.
