Eine neue Inszenierung

Jette Steckel is one of the most distinctive directors in contemporary theatre. Since she first directed at the Münchner Kammerspiele in the 2022/23 season, she has developed a far-reaching artistic collaboration with the theatre and its ensemble. Following “Die Vaterlosen” (“The Fatherless”) by Anton Chekhov, which was invited to the 2024 Theatertreffen festival in Berlin, “Mephisto” – based on the novel by Klaus Mann and invited to the 2026 Theatertreffen – and, most recently, “Meister und Margarita” (“The Master and Margarita”), based on the novel by Mikhail Bulgakov, she is once again bringing a production to the Schauspielhaus stage.
