The ensemble brings the story of the Edelweiss Pirates to the stage—young people who do not shy away from conflict with the Nazi state. The production avoids black-and-white thinking and explores moral courage in times of total control. When one’s own brother becomes a “model Nazi student,” the world is turned upside down. A historical scenario about resistance and conformity that could not be more relevant today.
