In 2006, Felix became the first deaf student to graduate from Carl-Orff-Gymnasium: “Despite many hardships, I see my story as a success story, because time and again I was fortunate enough to meet people who gave me a chance.” While studying history, he came across Helmut, who was born in Unterschleißheim in 1925 with the same disability and was murdered by the Nazis in 1941 because of it. Their life stories are incomparable, yet they show parallels. What began as a research project became a dance theater piece with live music and, above all, an inclusive remembrance project.
