In a three-hour workshop, we will explore the technique of wet felting together. Felt is the only fabric that isn’t made with thread, yet its fibers still bind together to form a strong material. Our goal is to create a piece of felt that one person alone could not make—whether due to its size or the effort required. We will touch the fibers, lay them out, moisten them, rub them, press them, roll them, wring them out, and bind them together. Through physical movement and a collaborative approach, something emerges that connects us—just like the fibers themselves.
