A kiosk is more than just a place for a quick shop. It’s a meeting place, a space in between, and sometimes a little living room on the street. This is where conversations start – however brief they may be.

In this episode of “A Mocha with Sue”, our presenter heads out into the city with you to meet Munich’s kiosk owners. Under the banner “Mocha To Go”, she chats with them about their daily lives behind the counter and their encounters with regulars. Because they know all about the many stories that accumulate between the drinks fridge, the Hermes parcel locker, the cigarette shelf and the shop door.

Because this is where life’s paths cross: early in the morning, late at night, between an after-work beer and spontaneous chats about politics, love or life itself.
