Release concert
“One of the greatest talents to emerge from Munich’s subculture,” wrote the Süddeutsche Zeitung about the dynamic pop maverick ENIK. As the composer of the theatre music for “Jeeps”, “Katzelmacher” and “Wokey Wokey”, he has become an integral part of this theatre. On this evening, he will be performing his new album Rainbows Planecrashes live for the first time. And it’s quite something:
Between whispering electronics and controlled detonation — between burning intimacy and a poetic wrecking ball — songs emerge that evoke states of mind and never tell a linear story. The pendulum swings between minimalism and cinematic vastness — and for this, the largest ENIK line-up to date is required. And a special setting: the Schauspielhaus.

Press reviews
“As we all know, opposites attract – but they rarely blend together so beautifully.”
“Musically, Enik’s second album has everything from thumping electronic beats (…) to laptop folk.”
“A profound singer-songwriter or a lively indie/electronica wizard? Enik is somehow both.”
