Schnitt, Kleb & Schimmer

Pinocchio emerges from a tree and thus from a living source that continues to have an impact. The world of the play of the same name, which can be seen at the Kammerspiele, is characterised by metamorphoses. It tells of how forms change, how new things take shape, and how life finds its way in and around us.

Pinocchio is back, and after the performance we invite you once again to the Habibi Kiosk. Together, we want to experience these transformations for ourselves and create little wonders from collected, recyclable materials: figures, landscapes or fantastical creatures. Things that have already lived a first life are given a second existence through your hands and your imagination. We invite you to follow Pinocchio’s example: to encounter the unexpected with generosity, curiosity and without fear. And to discover beauty where you might not expect it at first.

The afternoon will be accompanied by an exhibition by the artist Amit Naamani.

The workshop is an open space for children, families and adults to cut, glue and marvel. Come along and see how something magical can be created from the simplest of materials.
