For the second time, DOK.fest Munich is presenting the all inclusive Award for documentary film productions by filmmakers with disabilities and inclusive film crews. The prize, worth 5,000 euros, is sponsored by the Werksviertel-Mitte Foundation. With this award, DOK.fest Munich is sending a clear message in support of greater diversity in documentary film.

Winner of the all inclusive Award: Hello New Body, How are you today?

Filmmaker Laura Kansy is one of an estimated 650,000 people in Germany living with ME/CFS. In her early 30s, she is suddenly thrown off course by this little-researched multisystemic illness. With sensitivity and an impressive visual and audio backdrop, she documents the everyday life of her new microcosm with the help of her partner.

We invite you to the award ceremony, which will include a film screening followed by a champagne reception.

The full programme will be available from mid-April on the DOK.fest Munich website: www.dokfest-muenchen.de
